Serving the community of Evanston and the surrounding area, Kenneth D. Taylor School is a Kindergarten - Grade 4 school located right in Evanston. With a total enrolment of 510 students, this school has both in-class and off-site activities to help provide students with every possible learning opportunity.
Named after Canadian Ambassador Kenneth Taylor, the school embodies the same appreciation and recognition of culture and language. Kenneth D. Taylor School has 31 languages and 25 countries represented throughout. Kenneth D. Taylor school fosters an environment of openness and inclusivity to make sure every student has everything they need to develop their minds and create new friendships.

Opening their doors in Evanston in September of 2016, Our Lady of Grace School is a Catholic school for students from kindergarten to grade 9 operating within the Calgary Catholic School District. With the mission of developing a strong and supportive learning environment that focuses on academic, social and spiritual excellence, Our Lady of Grace School serves 900 students from in and around Evanston.
Named in honour of the Virgin Mary, Our Lady of Grace School values that Catholic faith and the unique gifts found in everyone. They operate with the vision of a school where its educational processes lead students to embrace and promote peace and social justice. The school strives for a tradition of progressive and innovative educational practices that demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education, while also fostering an environment of responsibility towards the community.

With two well-established schools already operating in Evanston, the spring of 2018 brought the exciting news that the community would be home to a third school! Slated to be ready for the 2022-23 academic year, the new school will be part of the Calgary Catholic School District, serving students from kindergarten to grade 6.
This new elementary school will provide students with modernized classrooms to help provide them with the best education possible. When building is done and the doors open, the school will have a capacity of 600 students.
This new school is a much needed addition to the fast-growing northwest quadrant of Calgary and is sure to make the decision to plant your roots in Evanston even easier. With a third school within walking distance of home, Evanston’s amazing amenities are exactly what families need.
